I'm passionate about teaching preschool!
Hi! I'm Ms. Tamika and I'm the Founding Teacher of Kingdom Roads Academy. In addition to all the fantastic teachers in Preschool Club, I'll be your child's personal preschool teacher. So after you join, I'll stay in close contact to make sure you have a great experience!
For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a teacher. Teaching and encouraging children has been a huge part of my life for many years. I bring nearly 30 years of experience in children’s ministry, along with 20 years as an in-home childcare provider.
I’m also a proud mom of four adult children and a children’s book author, so I understand both personally and professionally just how important these early years are.
Now, I get to teach YOUR child online!

Hi! I'm Dr. Jamila and I'm the Owner and Director of Kingdom Roads Academy. In addition to all the face-to-face contact you will have with Ms. Tamika, I'm here to make sure all things work smoothly with our website and all our school-related systems.
Would you believe that I have been teaching since 5th grade?! In 5th grade, I helped a 1st grader learn to read, and I have enjoyed working with kids ever since. I bring nearly 20 years of experience in children’s ministry, along with 20+ years of teaching in schools and colleges. I earned my doctorate in education from UCLA in 2016.
I’m also a happy mom of two toddlers and a military spouse, so I understand firsthand the value of providing a quality education for our littles no matter where we are in the world.
